Maintains the organizations effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering and supporting strategic plans for implementing and managing all aspects of Information Technologies.
Essential Job Functions:
Plans and implements additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership
Anticipates and identifies future network needs, identifying proactive solutions
Takes an active role in process improvement throughout the entire organization
Oversees the implementation and maintenance of network security
Preserves and protects assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures
Plans and manages the companys telephone system and manages company-wide upgrade efforts
Manages the corporate helpdesk activities and resolves escalated issues if necessary.
Helps establish and build relationships with vendors in conjunction with corporate leadership
Oversees all IT-related purchasing and budget usage; works with Accounting and Key Leadership to develop budgets
Holds responsibility for capacity planning and scheduling vendor negotiations related to IT
Effectively communicates all IT-related information to Key Leadership and to company staff as deemed suitable
Champions change and effectively manages the implementation of new ideas
Reinforces team approach throughout practice both on vendor levels and internal initiatives
Participates in all programs and enforces all policies related to performance evaluations and career development planning
Manages the development of project managers and IT staff
Lends expertise to internal teams and task forces
Enforces company standard policies and procedures
Essential Job Requirements:
Must be energetic, forward-thinking and work well with users within the facility. Must take on complete leadership and accountability for the company IT infrastructure. In addition to hardware installation and maintenance, network administration, computer controlled machinery, help desk and developing custom applications and support, this position requires a broad range of IT disciplines.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
