We are looking for a hard-working satellite technician to perform installations, services, and repairs on a variety internet satellite dishes, In this role, you will be required to install and mount satellite dishes and cabling, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and complete diagnostic and repair findings.
To be successful as a satellite technician, you should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and precision in your work.
Ultimately, a top-notch satellite technician should be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and provide excellent customer support.
Responsibilities:
Traveling to customers' homes or businesses to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs.
Performing site surveys to determine the optimal placement for satellite dish installation.
Installing the necessary cables, mounting the satellite hardware, and ensuring that the dish is positioned correctly.
Calibrating the equipment to ensure that the connection is secure and the service is functioning correctly.
Responsible for record management of van maintenance.
Diagnosing technical issues and implementing effective repairs.
Generating diagnostic and repair reports.
Providing training to new employees or interns.
Ensuring that tools and equipment are safely operated and maintained.
Keeping up to date with the latest technology and practices in the industry.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Must be able to lift 60-80 pounds and climb 28-36 foot ladders.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be available to work alternate weekends after more accountability.
(Saturday/Sunday) Must be able to pass a background check.
Candidates will be subject to drug screen before and during employment.
Minimum two-week paid training in Mississippi.
